The Revelstoke Dam was constructed in the late 1970’s by BC Hydro. One of the largest concrete power dams in North American is located just 5 minutes north of Revelstoke. It is a place that you must see to complete your Revelstoke experience. The Dam has a large welcoming visitors’ centre with interactive tours which you can enjoy at your own pace. (Open May - September).

This interesting interpretative centre is educational and informative. Located approximately 50 minutes east of Revelstoke and is a “must see” on your journey through the magnificent mountains in Rogers Pass.

Located just over a half hour west of town, Craigellachie is the site where the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific’s Cross Continental Railroad was hammered into the ground. It is an important link into Revelstoke and Canada’s rich history.
